As a child I lived next to a riding stable. I spent every spare minute I had helping and watching. There I learned how to ride, train, show, and event horses. At age 18 I bought a completely untouched Appaloosa Mare. I spent many years riding and training her. Jenny turned out amazing. I eventually got married and we were transferred to California. It broke my heart, but I sold Jenny and went on with my new life. About 10 years ago I realized that by having a dog I could build the same connection (even stronger) that I had with horses. Since then I have been showing and training my dogs. They have earned many titles, but most of all I love the moment when they understand what it is that I am asking. I really think it's fun and fullfilling and hope to pass forward my experience and knowledge.
